Bio: James C. Kessler, B.S., D.D.S.
Dr. James C. Kessler is a 1977 graduate of the University Of Oklahoma College Of Dentistry. Early in his career he spent ten years in dental education, teaching first at the University of Oklahoma and then at the Medical University of South Carolina. In 1988 he entered private practice in Tulsa, Oklahoma where he spent eighteen years. Dr. Kessler returned to dental education in January 2007 as the Herbert T. Shillingburg Professor and Chair of the Division of Restorative Dentistry at the Oklahoma University College of Dentistry. On January 1st, 2011 Jim will assume the position of Chairman of Education at the Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education.
Dr. Kessler's primary areas of interest are materials and technologies for the clinical and laboratory fabrication of aesthetic ceramic restorations. He is an active lecturer for both Dentists and Dental Laboratory Technician groups and has lectured throughout the United States as well as Canada, Europe and Asia.
